'Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.'
The holy Church added these wonderful words to the Hail Mary prayer.
We honour the Lady Mary as God honoured her; as the Mother of the Son of God.
So we ask Mary to pray to God for us, especially when we really need her help.
And lovely Mary hears our prayer, and helps us.
Our Lady has special love for babies, and little girls and boys.
If you have no mommy and daddy, pray to Mary - she will look after you carefully from Heaven, and will be your Heavenly Mother.
