Saints Anna and Joachim

Saint Anne is the mother of Mary.
  She cared for Mary and taught her to pray and know the Word of God, the Torah.
  Joachim and Anna were Mary's Dad and Mom.
They explained to Mary that all the people in Israel were waiting for a great man of God to be born, the Messiah.
  The Messiah was going to save everybody from all problems and unhappiness.
  Mary was so excited to hear that the great Messiah would one day be born in Israel.
  Mary did not know that God would send Angel Gabriel to her in Nazareth to ask her to be the Mother of the Great Messiah Jesus. 
  This was a wonderful surprise and a great honour, and when Mary heard that this was what God wanted, she said yes!
