| WHY NOT COLOR IN THE PICTURES? |
Jesus was asked by His disciples to teach them how to pray.
And so He taught them the prayer we call the Our Father.
It is a wonderful prayer for us to pray each day.
It teaches us that God is our Father.
He lives in Heaven, and is oh so holy.
We pray that what God wants to be done will happen everywhere.
We also ask our Great Father God to give us our food and daily needs.
We also ask Him to forgive us if we slip and make a mistake.
And we promise to forgive other people who may also slip and make a mistake, and we get upset by it.
And we pray that God will keep us safe always.
Isn't that a great prayer?
Praise God! Praise Jesus!
OUR FATHER
Our Father Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come,
Thy Will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us,
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
Amen.
